No New Posts   The Three-Sigh Rule for Walking Away at Vigor Spin

March 23, 2026

Last Tuesday night, specifically around 10:45 PM, I found myself sitting on my porch in Adelaide with a cold drink and my phone, staring at a balance that had unexpectedly climbed to $840. I had started the session with a modest $150 deposit, mostly just looking to unwind after a long day of work. I spent the first hour exploring some of the high-volatility slots and then moved over to the crash games, which have become my recent obsession. There is something uniquely terrifying and exhilarating about watching a multiplier climb from x1.10 up to x15.50 while your finger hovers over the button. I realized then that my biggest challenge wasn't the games themselves, but the voice in my head telling me that the next round would be the big one. Ive been using this platform for a while now, and every time I visit the Vigor Spin Login page, I have to remind myself of my "Three-Sigh Rule." It is a simple, slightly humorous strategy I developed to combat that late-night greed that usually leads to a zero balance.

The strategy is based on physical cues rather than just numbers. The first sigh happens when I hit a decent win, like the $220 payout I got on a x12 multiplier. It is a sigh of relief. The second sigh occurs when I start giving some of that profit back, maybe losing three $20 bets in a row. That is the sigh of frustration. The third and final sigh is the most important one; it is the sigh of realization that the "hot streak" is actually just a statistical anomaly that has passed. On this particular Tuesday, I hit that third sigh when I watched a crash game end at x1.01 three times in a row. I had $840 in the bank, and the temptation to "just round it up to $1,000" was pulling at me like a magnet. But I remembered the time back in January when I had $600 and tried to round it up, only to end the night with $0.50 and a lot of regret.

I decided to look at my progress in the loyalty program instead of placing another bet. I noticed I had accumulated enough Vigor Points to move up a small notch in their VIP tiers, which felt like a win in itself without having to risk another cent. The mechanics of these path-based games are designed to keep you moving forward, choosing lanes and hoping the obstacle doesn't appear at x2.00 or x5.00. I had one round where I chose the left path four times, reaching a x8.8 multiplier, and my heart was pounding so hard I could hear it in my ears. That is the exact moment when the "nervousness" angle of my strategy kicks in. If my hands are shaking, it is time to go. I took a deep breath, looked at that $840, and clicked the log out button. It felt better than any win.

Reflecting on it now, the shared interest we all have in these games often focuses on the thrill of the climb, but the real mastery is in the descent. Whether it is a $10 bet or a $100 one, the math doesn't care about your feelings. By setting a hard exit point based on my emotional state rather than just a dollar amount, Ive managed to keep my bankroll healthy. I ended that session with a profit of $690, which paid for my groceries and a new pair of boots the next day. It is funny how a little bit of self-awareness and a funny rule about sighing can be more effective than any complex betting system. Next time you see the multiplier hitting x50 and you feel that itch to stay in for x100, just remember that the "cash out" button is the most powerful tool in your entire arsenal.

No New Posts   Keeping my cool at the live blackjack table

March 23, 2026

It was a quiet Tuesday night around 11:15 PM when I decided to settle in for a session. I had about $160 in my account, and since I had recently claimed a 100% deposit match bonus, I felt like I had a decent cushion of $320 to play with. I usually spend my time on the faster slot games, but that night I wanted something that required a bit more focus. I navigated to the live dealer section, looking for a blackjack table that was not too crowded but still had a bit of a buzz. I found a seat at a table with a $15 minimum. The dealer was a professional woman named Sarah who was dealing cards with incredible speed and precision.

The thing about live blackjack is the sheer nervousness that hits when you are waiting for that final card. I always keep a basic strategy chart open on my phone next to me because I do not want to make a stupid mistake based on a gut feeling. I started with a simple $15 bet on the main hand and added a small $5 side bet on the 21+3 option. My first hand was a King and a 4, totaling 14. Sarah was showing a 6. The strategy says to stand when the dealer has a weak card like that, but every fiber of my being wanted to hit and get closer to 21. I forced myself to stay. The tension in the chat was high as three other players also stood on low totals. Sarah flipped her hole card to reveal a 10 for 16, and then she drew a Jack. Bust. We all won.

I found the streaming quality at Fafabet9 to be surprisingly crisp, which made the experience feel much more immersive than those old-school digital tables. You can actually see the texture of the cards and the felt on the table. About thirty minutes into the session, I decided to get a bit more aggressive. I bumped my main bet to $30 and kept the side bets going. That is when the magic happened. I was dealt two Jacks of Spades. On the side bet for Perfect Pairs, this is the top tier. A perfect pair of the same suit pays out at 25:1. I watched my balance spike by $125 before the main hand was even played. I ended up winning the main hand too when Sarah hit a 17 and I stood on my 20.

There is a real sense of shared interest when you are playing with the same group of people for an hour. There was a guy in the chat named Dave who was betting $100 a hand and losing, and we were all trying to cheer him up. When he finally hit a blackjack, which pays 3:2, the whole chat exploded with emojis. It makes the wins feel bigger and the losses feel a bit more manageable when you are not just clicking buttons in a vacuum. I also avoided the insurance trap. Sarah had an Ace showing later in the night, and the system offered insurance which pays 2:1. I remembered my strategy and declined. She did not have the ten, so I saved myself $15.

By 1:30 AM, my eyes were getting heavy, but my balance was looking healthy. I had managed to turn my initial $160 into $495. I decided to play one last "hero" hand with a $45 bet. I was dealt an 11, and the dealer had a 5. I doubled down, putting another $45 on the table. My heart was pounding against my ribs as Sarah dealt me a single card face down. She revealed her cards first, getting a total of 19. She then flipped my card. It was a 10. I had 21. I let out a huge sigh of relief and immediately clicked the button to leave the table. It was one of those rare sessions where the discipline of following a strategy actually paid off against the house edge. Ending the night with nearly $600 in the bank felt like a massive victory.

No New Posts   D.J's Music Site Remembering R&B/Soul Singer Bobby Womack

June 30, 2014

Bobby-Womack-Leaves-a-Legacy5.jpg

The highly influential  Soul Legend and R&B singer-songwriter who influenced artists from Rolling Stones to Damon Albarn, Bobby Womack died. He was 70.

Womack died this past Friday. According to source, there could not be no other details provided at the moment.

Womack was a stirring singer and guitarist in his own way and a powerful songwriter of hits like "Across 110th Street," [One of the D.J's Music Site staff favorites], "If You Think You're Lonely Now" and "I Wish He Didn't Trust Me So Much" captured the imagination of future stars in rock 'n' roll and R&B.

"He had a style that nobody could ever capture," longtime friend, gospel singer Candi Staton, said in a statement. "I loved him and I will miss him so, so very much."

In a statement, musician Peter Gabriel said: "I'm very sad to learn of Bobby Womack's death... His songs and his voice have been so much a part of the fabric of so many musical lives. In recent years, it was great to see Richard Russell and Damon Albarn bringing his music back into our attention. He was a soul legend. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friend at this time."

Even though Womack's death comes suddenly surprising. Womack has been sick with a bunch of different health issues. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's diease two year ago and overcame prostate and colon cancer. But Womack also was in good spirits when he performed earlier this month at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.

Womack told the BBC in 2013 the Alzheimer's diagnosis came after he began having difficulty remembering his songs and the names of people he had worked with.

Womack has worked with many and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.

"I must have listened to 'Facts of Life' for months, what an influence, what a voice, so long Bobby!!" Rod Steward said in a statement to The Associated Press.

According to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame website, Womack was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and sang gospel music at a young age, performing with his brothers in The Womack Brothers. Under the influence of gospel and R&B legend Sam Cooke, who signed the group to his personal label, Womack moved into secular music. In the early 1960s his group recorded "It's All Over Now," which was covered and by the Stones and became the band's first number-one hit.

His songs have been recorded by multiple artists, and he played as a session musician in Memphis in the 1960s.

"I don't think he ever really thought that he would do anything again," Albarn said of Womack in March. "Watching his rehabilitation and watching his ability to confront new material and new challenges was notjhing short of miraculous at the time, and he still today continues to battle his demons and his illness. But he's a beautiful person and when he opens his mouth and that voice comes out, it is something that is somehow touched by God."

Let's remember the late Bobby Womack by watching him performing his hit "Across 110th Street," and "California Dreaming" below.

Remember MTV's Total Request Live??

Well if it existed today, Ariana Grande would probably have no problem being at the top of the countdown with her song "Problem" featuring Iggy Azalea. And the network is reviving the cancelled show in honor of Grande.

The network announced that it will air a one day only 30-minute special on July 2 at 7 pm ET/PT that will be renamed Total Ariana Live. The singer will get a chance to perform her song "Problem" in front of a live studio audience holed up in MTV's Time Square studio.

During the special, which will be hosted by MTV News' Sway Calloway, Grande will also debut her upcoming single, "Break Free" and will test her hip-hop knowledge in a game called "Hip-hop Mix Up."

"It's a huge honor to be able to bring back a show like 'TRL,' I used to love watching it growing up. Can't wait to celebrate with my loves in Times Square. Might have some surprises too," Grande said in a statement.

Grande plans to make a special announcement during the show. No word yet what this announcement is. Maybe the release date for her follow-up to her 2013 debut, Yours Truly?

The original TRL ran from 1998-2008 and was originally hosted by Carson Daly, before Damien Fahey and others took over.
