  The date for the biggest award show, "Grammy Awards" and it nominations concert has announced next year's date. So mark your calendar.

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will be airing live on Sunday, February 10 on CBS. To find out all who will be nominated for the music's biggest night, tune into The Grammy Nominations Concert Live! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night, when it airs live on CBS December 5. Music that is released between October 1 of 2011 and September 20 of 2012 is eligible to be consider for a Grammy Award.

This year's awards was sweep by singer Adele, winning six awards out of the six categories that she was nominated for which includes, Album of the Year, for her 21 album.

 Today is a kind sad day for all the fans of the favorite daily top ten Hip-Hop and R&B music video show which is BET's "106 and Park". 106 and Park hosts Terrance J and Rocsi have announced that they will be departing from the show. While both have not announce any future plans, the duo will  likely still be around in the Hollywood TV business.

Stephen G. Hill, President of Music Programming & Specials for BET Networks recently confirmed the news in a statement.

Today, after seven exciting years, 106 & Park hosts Terrence J and Rocsi announced that they will be leaving the show. It is no secret that there are a number of opportunities coming their way and were fortunate that theyve been with 106 & Park for so long. They will be staying on the show for a while, so that we can have a 'victory lap' a celebration of their years at the helm of 106 & Park before their departure. Terrence J and Rocsi are destined for great success and we at BET Networks will always take pride in being their original home and be a place where I hope theyll always feel welcome.

Terrence and Rocsi made an emotional farewell announcement on "106 & Park" Tuesday night (May 29) expressing how much of an honor it has been to host the show. "The first day I cracked the mic on 106, I was staying on a cot in a basement," Terrence said. Rocsi added, "Until the moment we leave, we pledge to bring you young black culture. It continues to be our honor to do this for you." Terrence then promised viewers that "we have a huge farewell show coming for you guys. We're going to be leaving with a bang."

Katy Perry (premiering her new song), Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood, LMFAO, CeeLo Green, Kelly Clarkson, Usher, The Wanted  Linkin Park and Nelly Furtado are all schedule to perform.

Jordin Sparks and John Legend are schedule to honor the late Whitney Houston in a tribune to her at the Billboard Music Awards. Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and sister-in-law, Pat Houston, will make a special appearance to accept the award in her honor.

Adele, LMFAO, Rihanna, Lady Gagaand Lil Wayne are the leading finalists. Adele takes the lead as a finalist in 18 award categories, while LMFAO is a finalist in 17 categories. Rihanna lands in 13 categories this year, after leading the pack with 18 category appearances in 2011. Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne each snagged a spot in 10 categories.

 PINE BLUFF, ARK. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Vesper Choir directed by Dr. Michael J. Bates, is performing its Spring 2012 Concert on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 6:00pm in the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts Center Auditorium. The choir will be performing classical and contemporary choral works, spirituals, opera, and gospel selections. Admission to the Spring Concert is Free and the open to the public.

 The featured soloists include graduating seniors Janitha Lawson, Stephan Burse and Devin Heggie; as well as muci majors Brandon Black, Phyllissa Dunk, Naocea Evans, and Echol Simpson. In March, the Vesper Choir performed an evening of opera favorites with the Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra and also toured Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles during its annual spring tour. The choir also performed in Memphis, Southhaven MS, West Memphis, Little Rock, Hot Springs, Camden, Dermott, and Pine Bluff this semest.

Organized in 1945 by Ariel M. Lovelace, the Vesper Choir serves as one of the main fundraisers for the campus and was given its name because it presented music for the mandatory Sunday evening Vesper services on the AM&N campus. The choir is a service organization that has performed for significant campus and community events, schools, churches, and community organizations around the state of Arkansas and internationally. With a mission that is cultural, artistic and educational, the group has produced a long line of distinguished singers, performers and professionals in other work fields and academic including Dr. H. Beecher Hicks, prominent theologian, pastor and author; Smokie Norful, noted contemporary gospel artist and pastor; and Mr. James McKissic, internationally renowned concert pianist.

 CHICAGO - Bulls guard Derrick Rose tor his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and going to be out for the remainder of the season. Rose sat out the regular-season finale and has played in only five games in the last six weeks because of a nagging right ankle injury.

Rose landed awkwardly after a jump stop and fell to the floor with 80 seconds left in the Bulls' 103-91 victory over the Philadelpha 76ers in Game 1 of their first-round NBA playoff series at the United Center. It's the sixth injury Rose has suffered during this season. After Sixers coach Doug Collins waved for Bulls' trainers after Rose went down. Rose was writhing in pain and clutching his left knee before being helped off the court and into the locker room by trainer Fred Tedeschi and assistant trainer Jeff Tanaka.

The team later announced that Rose had torn his ACL and will miss the rest of the postseason. Rose was taken to Rush University Medical Center, where an MRI exam revealed the ACL tear. He was told his recovery could take eight months, according to a source familiar witht the situation and meaning Rose might not be able to return until January.

I know how bad he wants to be out there, Joakim Noah said. Regardless of what happens, were a capable group. Weve been through this throughout the year. We can play ball without Derrick, as well.

Bulls players defended Thibodeaus decision to have Rose remain in the game late in the fourth quarter. The Sixers had cut a 20-point lead to 12 at the time.

I dont work backward like you guys do, Thibodeau said. The score was going the other way. Hes got to play.

We hoping the rest of the Bulls' team can continue to make it through the playoffs and play like they did without Rose during the regular season.
